Course overview

To fully understand the modeling and simulation capabilities of FlexSim, it is important to be able to replicate a real-life scenario. In this course, you will learn how to set up multiple aspects of a process flow that drive the simulation in the 3D model, including order and pick setup, put wall slot reservations, tracking picks through the model, and packing the picks in a tote. You will also learn how to use photo eyes to avoid jams. Building these aspects of the process allows you to understand how to configure properties and parameters, use lists, apply labels, use objects, control operators, set up triggers, and more to replicate a multi-faceted process in FlexSim.

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Build a real-world scenario of an order fulfillment center that combines and configures multiple elements across a Process Flow in a 3D model.
• Configure activities and object properties, as well as build the logic to simulate order consolidation in a warehouse.
