Check In the Project File to Vault and Configure Working Folder Locations

In this unit, you will learn how to check the Inventor project file in to Vault after it has been created and how to map vault folders to local folder paths using Inventor an example. You will also learn how to configure the working folder options for the client working folder and default Inventor project file.

Once the Vault folders have been mapped an Inventor,

you can check the Inventor project file for Vault into the Vault.

The steps are an Inventor log in as an administrator default

log in as an administrator to Vault client.

Start a new Inventor part file,

click the plus sign in the model browser and add the Vault tab.

Right-click on My-Intro-Vault.ipj

and select Check in.

Note if the IPJ file is displayed with unknown status and Vault client,

to lead the IPJ from your local workspace and get it again.

display the Vault browser to see the project file
