Use Partner Cards to Pull in Project Data

00:00

Hey guys, welcome to the last objective of this course.

00:04

In this objective we are going to use partner cards

00:07

to pull in our project data on the dashboards.

00:12

Now

00:12

talking about partner cards. Because the whole idea of

00:16

the dashboard is to allow you a holistic view

00:19

of your project, Autodesk Construction Cloud has provided

00:22

you several branded partner cards that you can add.

00:27

The branded partner cards that are supported include Reality Capture,

00:32

Data and Analytics, Workforce Collaboration and so on.

00:37

You can easily customize your dashboards to include any of these partner cards.

00:42

Now, a really cool thing about Autodesk Construction Cloud

00:46

is that the third party partner cards that are

00:49

not available by default can be easily added.

00:52

All you need to do is make sure that they have an iframe-compatible embed link.

00:58

In that case

00:59

just add any partner card

01:01

And to configure that card, you can then add a card title and the partner URL

01:07

from that third party application.

01:09

Let's now jump over to the google chrome window and take a look at this in detail.

01:14

All right. So currently I'm under my dashboard

01:18

but for the hospital dashboard

01:20

I want to add some partner cards.

01:22

So for that first thing I'll do is on the top right I'll click customise,

01:28

I'll go card library

01:30

and I'll then click on partner cards.

01:33

It now shows me several partner cards here.

01:36

I want to start with adding some esri information.

01:39

For that, I'll go and select esri partner card here.

01:43

I'll go add card

01:45

and now I can configure this card, card title is ESRI,

01:49

I can add some more information here. And for partner URL,

01:53

I can simply copy and paste the URL.

01:57

I'm gonna go save, it now Configures this ESRI GIS

02:00

Data card to display the information I needed. I can customize it further.

02:06

For Basemap, I can use the basemap type in this case i want imagery hybrid

02:12

and now I can start looking at the information that I'm after.

02:16

I can also simply find an address by tapping it here. How cool is this?

02:22

And if I've got an ESRI account I can simply sign in by clicking Sign In here.

02:28

Similarly I want to add an additional card, let's see the cupix works card here.

02:33

I can also search for the card by typing in the search field here.

02:38

I'll select this card.

02:40

I'll select add card,

02:42

let me drag and drop it here.

02:44

And just like last time I can go and see configure

02:47

I can configure the card and add the partner URL.

02:51

Similarly, if it was a third party card that was not available by default,

02:57

I can modify the card titled here

02:59

and I can add a partner URL here. How cool is this

03:05

in this case I'm going to cancel.

03:07

I'm going to hide this card.

03:10

I'm going to move the ESRI card here

03:13

and now I'm gonna go and select save

03:16

and again just like last time I can share it

03:19

with my project team members or I can export it.

03:22

How cool is this?

03:25

And that's all we have in this course.

03:28

I hope you enjoyed learning about insight, all the best, cheers.
