Let's first understand what is construction IQ on the Insight module.

that delivers risk analysis of quality and safety data from your project.

It applies analytical techniques to help transform

data into simple but actionable insights.

Let's now jump over to the google chrome window and take a look at these analytics.

Alright, so I want to start with some project settings.

Currently I'm in Docs. Under Settings,

I want to show you that this project type is set to hospital.

Let me quickly edit the project settings.

If I click on the type drop down list here,

we've got several project types like Residential, Commercial,

Now from the left navigation if I click on design,

Similarly, if I go to the Quality option on the left navigation.

The quality analytics here are also optimized based on construction IQ.

I can see all the safety analytics also optimize using construction IQ.

this gives me a very clear understanding of what's been happening on the project.

And as discussed earlier

we can customize the cards that are displayed for each of these categories.

So for example for safety when I go customise and I go card library

I can go and add any additional cards I want.

I can also filter these cards. So for example if I go and filter it by safety

there are two safety cards that are automatically enabled on the safety page.

Leverage Construction IQ to Produce Predictive Insights – Practice Exercise

This exercise assumes that your ACC project type is a Commercial, Healthcare, Institutional, or Residential type.  

Task 1: Review the Predictive Insights for the Design Category 

  1. On the Insight page, click Design from the left navigation; various design insights are displayed, as shown below:



  2. Review the Design Issue Trend card and understand the analytics and their basis. 
  3. Similarly, review the insights in the other cards and understand their purpose.

Task 2: Add Additional Design Cards 

  1. From the top right, click Customize
  2. Click the Card Library button. 
  3. From the FILTERS section at the top, click Design; only the Design cards are displayed. 
  4. Select a couple of Design cards to display their analytics on the Design page. 
  5. Click Add Cards from the bottom right. 
  6. Drag and drop the cards on the page to locate them. 
  7. Save the customized view.

Task 3: Repeat the Process for the Risk, Safety, and Quality Categories 

  1. Repeat the process discussed in Tasks 1 and 2 for the Risk, Safety, and Quality categories.
