Get started in the classroom with Docs and BIM Collaborate

These exercises are intended to be used in a classroom setting in which a teacher is providing instruction of Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows to students. There are several in-depth Autodesk resources that can be referenced before starting in on these exercises and can be helpful in facilitating the instruction. Those references are listed in the Next Steps section.

Before beginning these exercises, it is assumed that your teacher has created an Autodesk Construction Cloud project for you. If you are not in an instructor-led class, you will need to create a project first and upload the required dataset files available in the Module Downloads.

If your teacher has set up the project for you, it is important to note the following:

  1. The datasets used in the exercises should be accessed from Autodesk Construction Cloud after your teacher has set up the project for you. Instructions for accessing the datasets are included below.
  2. In order to access the datasets, you will need access to the Autodesk Construction Cloud services, Autodesk Docs and Autodesk Build. It is assumed that your teacher has provided this access for you.
  3. Your teacher will also provide you with the necessary folder access permissions for using the project files.
