In Revit, the creation of steel connections can be automated based on their geometrical condition,

To begin, navigate to the desired RVT file, and then open it.

With the project open in Revit, from the Steel ribbon, Connection panel, click Connection Automation.

In the Steel Connection Automation dialog that opens, a list of predefined connections appears.

Select the connection type and modeling condition you wish to automate.

In this example, Clip angle – beam to beam is selected.

In the next step, you need to provide some inputs, such as elements to apply the connection to.

Click the Select button to select model objects with your cursor.
