With a design open in the Design workspace,

Use the file browser to navigate to where you have the drawing template you wish to use saved.

Once the template is uploaded to your project, expand the Workspace Picker and select Drawing > From Design.

In the Create Drawing dialog, expand the Template drop-down and select Browse to locate your recently uploaded template file.

From the Select Template dialog, choose your template.

A drawing opens with the default view already in place.
