In Inventor, you can modify assets using the Factory Properties browser.

Begin with factory assets already placed onto an Inventor Factory layout.

On the layout, select the right side Straight Roller Conveyor.

Now, open the Factory Properties browser, if it is not already open.

On the Factory tab, Tools panel, expand the Palettes drop-down and select Factory Properties.

The Factory Properties browser opens to display the properties of the currently selected asset or material flow object.

In the Factory Properties browser, adjust the Width parameter to 48 inches.

You can also enter simple math expressions to get the same result where numeric values are accepted.

In the Factory Properties toolbar, click the Update button to modify the selected asset.

All conveyors connected to the selected asset update to the new width of 48 inches.

When you are done making changes, Save the layout.
