Akmal Bakar is a Research Engineer at Autodesk Research based in London and is part of the Digital Transformation team of Manufacturing Industry Futures. He holds a master’s degree (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from University College London and joined Autodesk in 2018 as an intern. He is interested in automating mechanical design and manufacturing processes through the use of AI methods such as optimization and machine learning.
