James Donnelly is a Technical Consultant within the Manufacturing Industry Futures division of Autodesk Research, based in Birmingham, UK. James has a vast array of practical manufacturing experience, working in the Birmingham Technology Center prior to moving to Autodesk Research. James has worked on a variety of automaton projects, combining both additive and subtractive manufacturing technologies. His current focus is around robotics, additive manufacturing and how simulation and sensing can improve the manufacturing process.
