Liviu is a Senior Research Engineer who contributes to the development and deployment of novel solutions for AI and SOS (simulation, optimization, and systems) research. He is currently working on making machine learning in the cloud more accessible to researchers; and on Project Ajna, a computer vision system that captures and processes pedestrian activity to feed back into the design and make processes. He received his M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Toronto focused on computational photography, and he carries 4 AWS certifications including the Solutions Architect Professional and the Machine Learning Specialty.
