Key features of InfoDrainage 2024

InfoDrainage enables designers, engineers, consultants, developers, reviewers, approving authorities, and water companies to design and audit drainage systems.

Sustainable and traditional design

Create designs for traditional and sustainable drainage, with tailored reports for compliance

Real-life view

See the accurate extent of a pond, how the underdrain connects swales, and the exact lengths of pipes

Check details quickly

Get accurate data to export to other programs reducing rework to produce plans and profiles with correct locations

Analyze flows and flooding

Use built-in detailed hydraulic analysis for pipes, manholes, storage and green infrastructure to reduce the risk of flooding downstream

Templated designs

Speed up the design process with easy drag-and-drop templates set up to meet regulatory compliance

Validate mistakes rapidly

Use validation to quickly spot highlighted errors and read warnings, with potential solutions proposed

Civil 3D integration

Integrated data exchange with round-tripping support in Civil 3D to update pipe networks and surfaces to maintain 3D models for BIM compliance

Clear visualization

Switch between profile, plan, and 3D views to visualize how much space you are using and how your system is connected

Simplified workflow

Ribbon and toolbox options give a logical workflow to guide and improve user capability

Natural flowpaths

Identify overland flow patterns quickly and easily with deluge analysis features

InfoDrainage features 2024

Explore key capabilities

Import and export Civil 3D catchments in InfoDrainage for Civil 3D

Create catchments by exporting to InfoDrainage from Civil 3D, including the outline and properties of the catchment and connection to structures to minimize model setup time in InfoDrainage.

Annotations

Use annotations to speed communications and reduce the work needed to produce CAD drawings. You’ll have flexibility to set up specific information relevant to the project as well as prefixes and units as required for submission to regulatory authorities.

Critical by Return Period

You can now sort results by Critical by Return Period to view the worst-case storm for each rainfall Return Period pairing (30 year, 100 year, 100 year plus 30% climate change). This lets you easily produce reports that comply with regulatory requirements.

Import pipes and manholes from CAD files

Import connections and junctions from CAD files to reduce manual steps tracing existing data from .dwg and .dxf files. Available separately or combined when importing a pipe network, saving time in model setup.
