View your product license information


Find information about your license type and associated serial numbers (if any) in Autodesk Account or the product.

Find license information in Autodesk Account

You can monitor your current license information for each product in Autodesk Account.

  1. Sign in to your account at manage.autodesk.com.
  2. Under All Products and Services, find your product.
  3. In the product tile, click View Details.
  4. If you see License Details on the product details page, select it to display your serial number and product keys.

If you don’t see License Details on your product details page, you don’t have a serial number.

Find license information in the product

Find license information for products installed on your device.

2017 products and later

  1. Start your software.
  2. In the title bar, click your account > Manage License.

    Note: If you don’t see your account in the title bar, click Help > About > Manage License.
  4. To see license details, expand the drawer on an active license.

Note: For single-user subscriptions, you can usually sign in so that a serial number is not required. You may see a Stand-alone license type for 2017-2019 products, but a User License type for 2020 and later product versions.

2016 products and earlier

  1. Start your software.
  2. Click Help > About, or About [Product Name].
  3. In the About window, click Product Information or Product License Information.

If you are not able to locate serial number following the above, follow the steps below to request for license report.

  1. Go to our support page
  2. Click the Post-purchase support box.
  3. Select User and License Management
  4. Select Manage Licenses
  5. Select License reports and fill in the mandatory fields to submit your request

*Note: Primary admin, secondary admin can request for license report. Otherwise, the email address domain of the requester should match the company name.
