The Media & Entertainment Collection is the simplest way to access CG creation tools for your whole workflow. One subscription gives you everything you need to sketch, model, rig, animate, create FX, light and render your projects, from first draft to final frames.

Products in the Media & Entertainment Collection include Maya, 3ds Max, Arnold (with the option of getting a 5-pack; see next FAQs), MotionBuilder, Mudbox, ReCap Pro and Autodesk Rendering.

You can also run Bifrost for Maya on up to 15 machines with each collection licence, enabling you to process Bifrost-created simulations on a compute farm. Bifrost for Maya is a visual programming environment for creating complex effects.

If you purchase the Media & Entertainment Collection online (via this page), you get a single-user Arnold licence, which you can use on up to five separate machines. If you purchase a collection subscription from a reseller, you have the choice between receiving an Arnold single-user licence or a 5-pack of Arnold multi-user licences. The option to get multi-user licences in place of a single-user licence is only available if you buy from a reseller and does not apply if you purchase online.

The price of an annual Media & Entertainment Collection subscription is A$4,000

You can download a free 30-day trial of any software – you can try multiple products simultaneously – included in the Media & Entertainment Collection. Use at least a 10 Mbps Internet connection and make sure you have enough space on your hard drive as trials are typically large file sizes. If you already subscribe or have a maintenance plan on individual products, you can switch to a collection.

For multi-user subscription, at your next renewal before 7 August 2023, you can trade in one subscription for two subscriptions (for one named user each) at a cost consistent with what you pay today.

For network maintenance, at your next renewal before 7 May 2022, trade in one seat for two subscriptions (for one named user each) at a cost consistent with what you pay today.
