Description
Windows Universal Platform is redefining product experience on cross-platform devices by blurring the device dependencies, and enabling the user to run the same product across all Windows 10-supported devices. This enabled us to explore new possibilities for AutoCAD software drawing experiences on futuristic devices like HoloLens, Surface Hub, Continuum, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. In this session, we will showcase our explorations: How AutoCAD software can change the future of making things by breaking boundaries of conventional desktop software. How small devices (Phone with Continuum) are carrying AutoCAD 360 web app and getting transformed to desktop experience just by connecting any size of the display. We’ll cover virtual-reality CAD exploration, where 3D reality mixes with 2D virtual shapes for a fast, powerful, and accurate visualization. No prerequisite required, as we are exploring new ways to use and work with AutoCAD software drawings. This session features AutoCAD 360 and AutoCAD. AIA Approved
Key Learnings
- Learn how to use AutoCAD drawing any time, anywhere—even when not connected to Internet
- Discover the future of drawing experience in mixed reality using HoloLens
- Learn how to carry AutoCAD in a small Windows hardware system, and use it to connect to displays of any size
- Discover new possibilities with AutoCAD drawings in the modern world, where devices (mobile, desktop, HoloLens) are just mediums to work with the same drawing in different scenarios
