Create drawing tables.
00:04
After completing this video,
00:05
you'll be able to
00:07
create a drawing parts list and create a drawing bed table.
00:11
In fusion,
00:12
we want to carry on with our manual drawing creation file.
00:16
We're gonna take a look at creating a parts list on our 1st sheet,
00:19
as well as a bend table on our 3rd sheet.
00:22
To get started,
00:23
we want to go to our first sheet and select tables.
00:26
We can use the automatic table option or we can manually pick the parts list.
00:31
If we're going to pick the parts list,
00:32
we simply need to drag the location where we need to snap the parts list
00:36
and note that it's adding balloons for us automatically.
00:40
Note that we have a couple of different options that we see on the screen.
00:43
We see our parts list with our part number and our material,
00:47
the item and quantity.
00:49
Parts list can be somewhat configured and some of
00:51
the information comes back from our detailed drawing part.
00:55
And if we go to specific features like the housing mount,
00:59
right click and we locate our properties.
01:03
Inside of the properties of each component,
01:05
we're going to see information about the part number,
01:08
the part name,
01:09
and its description.
01:11
Each of these bits of information can be carried
01:13
onto the detailed drawing and into a parts list.
01:16
For the most part,
01:17
we're gonna be using this standard parts list.
01:19
If we need to make any changes,
01:21
we can go to our table and we can select things like renumber balloons.
01:25
For example,
01:26
if we need this to be item number 1,
01:28
we'll select it first and then item number 23456,
01:34
and 7,
01:34
and so on.
01:36
We can carry on around our part,
01:37
renumbering things as we go,
01:39
and we can have our parts list change.
01:41
We'll say,
01:42
OK,
01:42
and have everything updated.
01:45
Next,
01:45
let's go to sheet 3,
01:46
where we have a sheet metal part.
01:48
With sheet metal parts,
01:49
there are a couple ways that we can identify the bends.
01:52
Using a bend table is one of the best ways.
01:55
We can toggle on bend identifiers for a
01:58
specific part by selecting bend center lines.
02:00
We can see that we have bend 1 and bend 2.
02:03
We can add a bent table,
02:05
which will allow us to add a table with information about each bent.
02:09
Bend 1 is up based on the current orientation with an angle of 50 degrees,
02:14
radius value of 0.24.
02:16
Bend 2 is down an angle of 45 degrees with the same radius value of 0.24.
02:22
So including a bend table or information about the bends is a
02:25
great way to capture details about your flat and sheet metal parts.
02:29
Keep in mind that there are other types of tables that we can use.
02:32
There are custom tables that we can create,
02:34
tables for revision history.
02:36
If we're using the whole feature,
02:37
we can gather information about the holes generated on a part,
02:41
and we can also use other options like manually adding parts lists or balloon items.
02:47
For right now,
02:48
let's make sure that we just understand how we
02:49
can add a detailed parts list of our assemblies
02:52
and how we can add a bend table for our sheet metal parts.
02:56
Once you're done,
02:57
make sure that you do save your detailed drawing before moving on.
