Guided Exercise - Thumbnails

By default Outcomes are presented as thumbnails in the Explore section.

First thing to note here is that some outcomes are under a Converged heading while others are Completed.

Hovering your mouse over the image of those in the Completed section will provide a tooltip indicating why the analysis did not converge. Common is to run out of solver iterations prior to the design criteria being met

Outcome Properties:
1. Select [Left click] the Properties icon from the Display section of the ribbon.
2. In the Properties view, extended details can be seen about specific outcomes: Material, Manufacturing Method, and Orientation as well as Factor of Safety details, mass, and volume.

3D View:
Select [Left click] any thumbnail to open its 3D View.

1. Go back to full list of Outcomes.
2. Iteration slider - Move this left to right to see how the geometry changes.
3. Use these icons to render Stress concentrations as well as overlay of the original design space.
4. Properties of the current iteration.
5. Icon to add this to Design Comparison.

View Comparison:

1. Select [Left click] the Compare icon in the ribbon.
2. Select [Left click] any second outcome.

3. Using the Compare icon we can select up to four (4) outcomes to look at side by side.

4. Once done reviewing, use the Finish Outcome View button to see the full Outcome list.

*Note that these two Outcomes will still be selected, use the left mouse button to unselect these to move forward.
