Upskill your team in Computational and Generative Design for Buildings

Successfully Increase Your Maturity

The ability to develop automation for design in a visual scripting environment that allows you to automate processes, analyze, understand, create, and apply design logic; then create design optimization studies, analyze results, and automate design development.

Maturity level 1-5: Get help with your plan

Maturity level 1: The starting point for adoption of Generative BIM. Capabilities and workflows adopted at an introductory level with limited definition or regulation; Design optimization processes uncovered with discovery sessions, automated through computational BIM capabilities, and optimizations tested on a project-by-project basis.

Maturity level 2: For the Generative BIM and workflows, development such that repeating the same steps is possible for wider adoption across the organization – design optimization occurs in silos throughout the design process but on multiple projects.

Maturity level 3: Generative BIM and associated workflows have reached a level of industry-wide achievable practice. Capability processes are solid and repeatable with minimal risk – key optimizations are standardized by project typology.

Maturity level 4: Practices, outcomes, and insights allow for targeted process refinement with Generative BIM such that optimizations are no longer occurring in a silo by phase but are considered in a holistic way throughout the project timeline. You can work through redefining project strategy by optimizing complex design issues with high levels of inter-dependency of capabilities.

Maturity level 5: Capability and workflow developments are targeted for defining state of the art practices and maximizing impact of business outcomes and values. Project strategy has shifted to outcome-based design with design optimization and data driving building that are designed to perform optimally.
