Importing and exporting data inside Dynamo

Module overview

The focus of this content is importing and exporting data using an external source like Microsoft Excel (.CSV). Learn a simple technique for importing data into the Dynamo environment. Once this data is imported, we will discuss a simple, yet effective way to access the information in the list. Then learn best practices for writing data to an external source.

This content takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. By the end, you should be able to: 

• Import data from an external source like Microsoft Excel 
• Discover the List of data and illustrate a simple way to access the data 
• Compile data and export to an external source
