00:04

So next, we're going to talk about the join command,

00:08

the join command functions similar to a polyline

00:12

edit command where we can make like objects

00:16

connect to each other to form one object instead of pieces.

00:21

For example, if I start clicking on pieces over here in the assembly,

00:26

you can see we have separate lines.

00:29

And if I were to use the list command on one of these, I can see that it is a line,

00:35

it's not a poly line.

00:37

Well, what I can do is using the join command.

00:41

I can make a lot of these pieces join together instead of being separate.

00:47

So back to the same location on the ribbon, I can go to the home tab,

00:52

the modify pull

00:54

down

00:55

and then we have

00:57

the join command.

00:58

So I'll click on the join button.

01:01

It says select source objects or multiple objects

01:06

to join at once. So if I wanted to

01:09

join as many objects as possible,

01:12

I can use a selection window or crossing window to select

01:18

right click for enter.

01:20

And now

01:22

you can see

01:23

that the results of running this command are quite clear.

01:27

The fact that now we have objects

01:31

that have been joined

01:33

by the join command.
