Next,

00:05

we'll take a look at the new break at

00:07

point command and compare it to the break command.

00:12

These commands can both be accessed here on the modified drop down

00:17

on the home tab of the ribbon.

00:20

They're right next to each other. The old brake command

00:24

and the new break at point command.

00:27

Let's take a look at the brake command.

00:30

Have some poly lines here

00:32

and the way the break command worked

00:34

and still works, you select your point

00:38

and then

00:39

select a second point to break it.

00:42

But if you wanted that point to be at the same

00:45

location, a

00:47

lot of times this is what you would end up with.

00:51

This is just how the brake command works. It has nothing to do with the O

00:55

snaps

00:57

and notice the space between them.

00:60

The break at point command

01:02

is much cleaner as you can go in.

01:05

Select break at point,

01:08

click on the object that you wanna break

01:15

and just like that, the point that was selected is the point of the break.

01:21

Let me show that one more time.

01:25

Break a point,

01:27

select the point

01:29

and click enter

01:32

and it breaks at that point.
