In this example, you create a snapshot—

a rendered image of the current view that is saved at the resolution and location that you specify.

In InfraWorks, zoom and pan to the desired view of the model.

From the Manage tab, in the Model panel, select Model Explorer.

In the Model Explorer, you can choose which feature classes to display or hide.

Only those displayed are included in the snapshot.

You can also specify the visual effects that you want to apply to the view before saving the snapshot image.

For example: From the Toolbar, click Application Options, then select 3D Graphics.

From here, you can specify graphics options, such as water reflections and shadows.

Set options such as building facade detail, facade brightness, and pre-computed ambient occlusion for shadow effects.

Pan, zoom, and position your screen to the view you want to capture.

Once you have the desired view, from the Present/Share tab, expand the Present panel and select Create Snapshot.

Specify the file name and save location, as well as the resolution and aspect ratio.
