Label styles in Civil 3D

In Civil 3D, you can control the appearance and content of labels in a drawing with label styles.

These styles include text, blocks, lines, ticks, and leaders.

To begin working with label styles, with a drawing open, in Toolspace,

on the Settings tab, expand General, and then expand Label Styles.

Review the list of available label styles in your drawing.

General label styles are used by lines, curves, feature lines, and corridors.

This collection also includes Note label styles, which are not specific to an object.

Expand one of the options, such as Note.

Then, right-click a label style and select Edit.

This opens the Label Style Composer dialog.

From the Layout tab, you can create and edit label components.

From here, you can also preview the label style.

With Civil 3D, you can create and save label sets for alignments, profiles, and sections.
