Edit single line text objects

Edit single line text objects using control codes.

You can control some aspects of the appearance of single line text.

Although the options available are more limited

than when working with multi line text,

you can adjust the text appearance while you

are initially creating the text or edit it.

After it has been created

to edit a single line text object. Double click that object.

Remember that each line of single line text

is an individual single line text object,

double click, the first line of text to start the text, edit command,

you can now edit the text content,

move the text cursor to the start of the line of text

and then press the delete key to eliminate the word standard.

Although there is no contextual ribbon. When editing single line text,

you can modify some aspects of the text.

For example, to underline the first line of text

with the text cursor located to the left of the word notes,

As soon as you do, the entire line of text becomes underlined

to underline just a portion of the text such as the word must in the second note,

double click that single line text object,

place the text cursor before the start of the word must

to indicate the start of the underlining.

Initially, the rest of the entire single line, text object becomes underlined.
