In the Autodesk account portal, a deployment refers to the process of distributing and installing Autodesk software
00:10

Deployments are typically handled by IT administrators who need to ensure that all users have the necessary software installed,
00:21
and configured correctly and consistently.
00:25
To start the deployment process, sign in to your Autodesk account.
00:30
Under Products and Services, select Custom Install.
00:35
Click Create package.
00:38
Under Add products, use the drop-down to select the License Type.

00:51
As you select products, you can customize them in the right panel,
00:56
such as selecting the version to include in the deployment.
00:60
All installers needed for that version are included in the deployment.
01:06
You can also add optional extensions or plugins, or specify a storage location for content,
01:12
including templates, materials, and drawings.
01:17
Customization options vary for each product.
01:21
Note that the custom settings you choose apply to every instance of the product installed from the deployment.
01:29
After you download the deployment, you cannot change these settings.
01:35
However, you can make changes in the account portal and re-download to update the local image.
