Step-by-step:
Once you have successfully run a hydraulic model through an EPS, you can review the results using the Attribute tab of the Model Explorer, and you can create a variety of reference graphs using the tools in the Report Manager.
- Open the appropriate .aprx file in ArcGIS Pro.
- From the ribbon, InfoWater Pro tab, Project panel, click Initialize.
- In the model, select a junction.
- In the Model Explorer, Attribute tab, Output section, notice the demand and pressure data for the selected junction.
- Use the arrows or slide the output time bar to change the output time.
The values in the Attribute tab always reflect the time referenced by the output time bar.
- In the model, select pump P-140.
- In the Model Explorer, Attribute tab toolbar, click Graph.
- From the Report Manager dialog box, expand the drop-down and select Flow.
- Notice that during the simulation, the selected pump was flowing and that it turned off twice.
- In the model, select tank T5000.
- In the Model Explorer, Attribute tab, click Graph.
- In the Report Manager, change the parameter by expanding the Flow drop-down and select Level.
- Notice the graph shows the tank filling and draining during the 24-hour period.
- Click Reference Graph.
- From the Reference Graph dialog box, Other Data Sources tab, set Reference Option to Quick Mixed Graph.
- Set Data Source to Active Graph Data.
- Click OK.
The Reference Graph Data Source will create a second parameter within the same graph. There will be two options in the first drop-down, one that specifies the Main or Right y-axis, and a second that specifies the parameter for the associated y-axis.
- In the Report Manager dialog box, expand the drop-down and set the Y-Axis to R: Tank T5000.
- Set the parameter drop-down back to Flow.
- Click Reference Graph.
- From the Reference Graph dialog box, Other Data Sources tab, set Reference Option to None.
- Click OK.
- To compare graphs, undock them both. In the Report Manager, click Undock twice.
- Select Window > Tile Horizontally.
The graphs are tiled on top of each other, allowing you to view and compare the EPS results for the specific pump and tank at the same time.
- To re-dock the graphs, right-click the title bar of a floating graph and click Dock to Report Manager.
- To hide the graphs, select Window > Hide All.
- To re-display them, select Window > Unhide All.
- To display a graph of multiple selected elements, in the model, locate pumps P-100 and P-120.
- In the Report Manager, click New.
- In the Output Report/Graph dialog box, Graph Report tab, select Pump Group Graph.
- Click Open.
- From the ribbon, activate the Select tool.
- In the model, select pumps P-100 and P-120.
- Right-click anywhere in the model and from the shortcut menu, select Enter.
In the Report Manager graph, notice the output for both pumps. Only pump P-120 was used for the 24-hour analysis.
- Click Hide to close the Report Manager.
Every report and graph in the Report Manager is saved in its current state until it is manually removed, refreshed, or the model is closed.
