Identify the different visualization settings and modes in the ReCap Viewer.
Transcript
00:03
The ReCap Viewer provides visualization settings to help view your ReCap point cloud.
00:09
At the bottom of the viewer, expand Visualization Settings.
00:13
Drag the Display Point Size slider to adjust the point cloud size of the point attenuation.
00:19
You can also adjust the lighting.
00:22
Cycle through the visualization modes to select how you view the cloud data:
00:26
Normal-Mapping Mode displays points with colors assigned to the x, y, z values associated with the direction of the normal for the point.
00:34
Intensity Color Mode sets the point display to show intensity,
00:38
which measures point reflectivity based on surface texture, surface angle, and the environment.
00:45
Elevation Color Mode displays point colors that reflect height, or z coordinates.
00:51
Shading Mode displays cloud data in grayscale mode,
00:55
based on the brightness of each point.
00:57
RGB Color Mode displays points in the real-world colors originally captured by a camera built into the scanner.
01:05
This color is based on RGB (red, green, blue) color values.
