In Revit, you can use your mouse to navigate any open view.

In 3D views, you can also use the ViewCube.

To create a default 3D view, from the Revit ribbon, click Default 3D view.

To pan the view side to side, use your middle mouse button.

To zoom in and out, scroll your mouse wheel.

Keep in mind that the position of the cursor establishes the center of the zoom.

To orbit your model in a 3D view, hold down SHIFT as you press the middle mouse button.

Note that if you select an object and orbit the view, that object becomes your center of rotation.

To orientate your model to a predefined position, select a face, edge, or corner on the ViewCube.
