as you contribute and leverage data.

00:11

On the Filters tab, you can use different parameters to isolate components and change their visual appearance.

00:19

When a model is loaded into Tandem,

00:21

the Filters panel is populated with a default set of model properties that are consistent across all models,

00:27

but you can change which properties are used at any time.

00:31

As you apply additional parameters to your assets and spaces,

00:34

you can leverage those as well.

00:37

To filter within your facility, simply click the row of the value you want filtered.

00:43

Filters are applied sequentially from top to bottom,

so as you make selections, the property values below are further constrained by your selection.

00:52

Here, after Interiors and Doors are selected,

00:55

notice that the only Revit types available are those that match the interior system and the doors category.

01:02

To better visualize these different values within the viewer,

01:05

based on any parameter.

01:14

Click the same icon again to remove the colors or clusters,

01:18

or click an icon in a different group to dynamically switch between different parameters.

01:24

To customize the colors used for color coding,

01:26

click the circle for any line item to open the Edit Colors dialog.

01:31

Select the desired color or enter Hex values, and then click Apply.

01:37

To clear the filters you have applied, click the Clear filters icon at the top of the Filters panel.

01:43

You can also customize the set of filter parameters.

01:48

Click the Gear icon to open the Edit Filters dialog.

01:53

Under Available Parameters, expand the drop-downs to select from Standard parameters,

01:59

Asset Properties that you have applied through your Facility template,

02:02

or Design Properties, which are incorporated with the source models.

02:07

You can also use the Search Property field to search across all of these groups.

02:12

Additionally, users have further options that they can turn on to add more details to their view.

02:19

Click the Plus icon to add a parameter to the Selected Properties list,

02:23

which you can rearrange by dragging parameters up or down.
