Change a subscription term

In some regions, you can change your subscription term (for example, from a monthly to an annual or 3-year subscription) online or by contacting support.

Follow the steps based on how you bought your subscription. If no option is available for your region, let the original subscription expire and get a new one with a different term.

Change the term length for subscriptions bought online

Your new term is not applied until your current term has ended. There is no charge until your existing term expires. You're charged in full on the start date of your new term.

  1. Sign into your Autodesk Account at manage.autodesk.com.
  2. In Billing and Orders > Subscriptions and Contracts, click a product to open subscription details.
  3. Scroll down to the Renewal Details section. Under Term, click Change.
  4. In Change Term for Your Subscription, select a new term. For example, 1 year paid annually.
  5. Click Confirm. Your term change is confirmed with a start date, and you will receive a confirmation email. You can change your term again before this date.

Change the term length for subscriptions bought through a partner

If you got your subscription from an authorized Autodesk partner, contact your partner so that they can make the change for you.

To locate your partner's contact information:

  1. Sign into your Autodesk Account at manage.autodesk.com.
  2. In Billing and Orders > Subscriptions and Contracts, locate your contract and click Renew to display the partner's name and email.

Contact your partner to change the term length for the next renewal of this subscription.

Note: The Renew button appears only if the contract is within 90 days of expiration.
