When admins take advantage of the product usage data provided within Autodesk account,

they can make informed decisions and verify all licenses are being fully utilized.

To determine if a product's license or seat count within a certain team is being underutilized,

you can go to the insights tab in the reporting section of the navigation panel.

Looking at the under assigned reports, you can see that there are products that are under assigned.

By reviewing this report, we can determine if users need to be unassigned, so seats can become available for another user.

Or if the subscription seat count for a product needs to be reduced,

so that when it comes time for the subscription renewal, your license or seat count will be correct.

Click "See All" under assigned to display the product cards.

To investigate further, click on "View Usage Details" to see how many seats have been assigned versus the number of total seats.

You can see that the total number of seats or licenses versus the total amount are not being fully utilized by this team.

So, further investigation is needed on which user in the team is not using certain products.

If you go back to the seat usage page, you can review a team's report by user.

You can view the active or inactive users to determine which software is not being accessed.

For example, this user has never opened the product design and manufacturing collection.

We can click on the user to see which software they are using. This user is only using the architecture, engineering and construction collection.

After confirming with the user that they indeed do not use the collection in question,

we can click on "Manage Product Assignments", which takes us to the user's page.

From here, we can click "Unassign" to unassign the product from this user.
