Adding scale to the leg

Configure a multiply/divide node to replace the base leg length value with one that adjusts with the scale of the rig.

00:03

Let's now look at the leg.

00:05

All we need is the base scale value multiplied by the rigs scale.

00:11

So we need the left leg tab

00:13

and the scale factor node.

00:16

Again, we have the base leg length here.

00:19

So duplicate the node

00:21

and rename it to leg. Left global scale,

00:24

open it up

00:26

now copy the input two X value up to input one X

00:33

and change the operation to multiply

00:36

next.

00:37

We need to connect the root control to the global scale nodes, input two X attribute.

00:43

So bring this in

00:46

and connect scale Y to input two X.

00:51

OK. That's updated.

00:53

Now we just connect this to the scale factor

00:55

node to replace the base leg length value here

00:59

with the one which will adjust with the rigs scale,

01:03

take output X and connect it to input two X

01:08

and the leg snaps back.

01:10

So it's the correct scale. Now,

01:12

if we scale the rig,

01:14

the torso, left arm and left leg, all look fine. Now.

01:19

So now we need to update the right side

01:24

and we can now scale the rig without any issues.

01:27

We can also move it and rotate it too.
