To get Autodesk products available through the Autodesk Education plan, you must choose an option below. This is a one-time decision and applies to all additional products that you request access to through your Autodesk Education account.

  •  Best option for educators

    Education Single-User Subscriptions

    Get 125 single-user subscriptions to any product in the Education plan.

     Onboard your class - Invite students and assign product access individually or give access to your entire class at once.

     Speed - Your class can start working with Autodesk products within minutes of receiving invitations.

     Flexibility - Students with a single-user subscription to a product can install the product on up to 3 different computers.

     Ease of use - All students in your class will be able to bypass the confirmation of eligibility process and have the same, streamlined getting started experience.

    By choosing this Education Single-User Subscriptions option and clicking Accept, I agree that I will only invite users under my Autodesk account who are students, faculty, or staff at my educational institution and who meet Autodesk Education eligibility requirements, including minimum age requirements, to use Autodesk products for educational purposes.

  • Education Network Licenses

    Use a network license server to deploy licenses.

     

     Access for your institution or district - Get licenses for up to 3,000 concurrent students per product.

     Lab deployments - Manage lab machines with serial number-based installations.

    Note: Students who want to use certain products, such as Fusion 360 or InfraWorks, will need to have an Autodesk Account and individually confirm their eligibility for free educational access to Autodesk products.

What do you need to know before you begin:

Three easy steps to get up and running:

1. Download the Fusion Lab Install Package
2. Execute the Fusion Lab Install Package on each client
  • ·Run the executable from Windows Explorer, a command shell, script, or software distribution or management system.
  • ·The executable will prompt for administrator privileges if it does not already have them.
3. Sign-up to receive Autodesk Fusion Updates

Autodesk Fusion is updated approximately every six weeks. Regular updates to lab installations are mandatory. Maintain full compatibility by signing up for notifications. Click here to be notified.

You will receive an email with these instructions to upgrade Autodesk Fusion:

  • ·Re-download the Fusion Lab Install Package (link in Step 1 above)
  • ·Windows only:
    • To ensure your lab version is consistent with the latest version available on students’ personal devices you now have the option to set up Auto-Downloads. Auto-Downloads for Autodesk Fusion automate the recurring 6-8 week update process. Follow set-up instructions for Auto-Downloads here - see section 6 (page 14).
    • Alternatively, manual installation and update for Autodesk Fusion in a lab environment remains available. Download this batch file into the same folder/directory as the package. Launch the *.bat file from Windows Explorer, a command shell, script, or software distribution or management system.
